Wallingford Long Distance Sculls 2019

The first head race of the season was a good opportunity to test ourselves against some of the top school programmes in the country. In windy conditions two quads from the senior women’s squads raced. Both our WJ18 and out WJ16 quads raced well and both finished 4th place in a competitive field. The quads will now set their sights on Fours Head that will take place next month. 

The standout results came later in the day in the small boats. In the women’s singles Harriet Wilson finished avery impressive second place, only two seconds of winning the event.In the same category Jojo Blyth rowed extremely well to finish 6th.
