Upper Thames Autumn Head

For the Godstow athletes Upper Thames was the first chance of the year to race. The whole squad raced very well and produced promising performances. Amelia Pearson and Emily Myers rowed well to place 4th in the WJ14 doubles and the WJ15 quad of Ada Kemp, Ailin Zhang, Maria Allison, Evie Ball coxed by Tom Barton placed 3rd. 

The senior squads had three quads racing. Dan Bradbury, James Pullinger, Dan Carpenter and Nick Adam raced well to win the Op J18 Band 2 quads, with the other quad placing second in the same event. The WJ18 quad placed a close second in Band 1. The squad will now set their sights on Fours Head in a few weeks time.
