Marlow Regatta took place on 17th June at Dorney Lake with four Hinksey crews entered to race. A rare flat and wind-free day greeted the crews at Dorney with superb rowing conditions - a far cry from other visits to Dorney Lake this season!

Time trials in the morning determined the crews' progression, seeding them into finals based on their times. Having come fourth in their time trial, the J18 4+ gained a place and came third in the A final, seconds behind 1st and 2nd place and over ten seconds ahead of 4th. The J15 4x+ likewise gained a place in relation to their time trial result, placing 2nd in their B final; a fantastic result and encouraging progress since National Schools' Regatta. Our J18 4x crews came 4th and 6th in the D final, with last-minute changes in both crews due to illness - particular thanks to Archie Licudi (J15) who stepped into the B quad for the day!
