Blenheim Palace Junior Regatta
2012 - Sadly there will be no BPJR running in 2012. Due to the Olympics the racing calendar has had to have a reshuffle and we are unable to find a date that can fit in amoungst other regattas.
Please be assured however that we have our 2013 date as Saturday 15th June.
The second Blenheim Palace Junior Regatta took place on 11th June 2011 and was a great success. We would like to thank all the clubs that supported us and hope that your athletes enjoyed the day as much as ours did. The results have now been posted online. Congratulations to all clubs who seem to have gone away with a lot of well-deserved medals.
The event is specifically aimed at juniors from J10-J13 and offers them the chance to compete in a series of 500 metre multi-lane races on the lake within the grounds of one of the most spectacular private homes in the country. Racing takes place throughout the day and viewing is available from the natural arena that surrounds the lake.
Please note: 2010 and 2011 were by invitation only. We hope that through its success we will be able to open the event to all clubs in the future.
